甜蜜與卑微

　　故事發(fā)生在20世紀的30年代，雷（西恩·潘 Sean Penn 飾）是當時紅極一時的爵士樂傳奇人物。由于早年生活困頓，成名后雷養(yǎng)成了揮金如土的惡習，壓抑許久的他放縱自己迷失在由金錢和美女組成的奢侈世界里。　　一位名叫海蒂（薩曼莎·莫頓 Samantha Morton 飾）的普通洗衣女工深深的愛上了雷，愿意為雷付出一切，而雷亦對單純的海蒂抱有好感?？墒?，此時的雷并不想過早的走入安定的家庭生活，更何況，雷可是一位藝術(shù)家啊，對于藝術(shù)家來說，婚姻難道不正是靈感的墳墓嗎？就這樣，雷和海蒂漸行漸遠。之后，雷娶了性感妖嬈的作家布蘭奇（烏瑪·瑟曼 Uma Thurman 飾），卻發(fā)現(xiàn)布蘭奇是比自己還要放浪形骸的“交際花”。直到此時，雷才想起了海蒂的好，可是雷沒有把握，這個單純可愛的女孩如今還會一如既往的包容他，接納他嗎？

死人開關(guān)

 故事發(fā)生在1977年2月8日，圍繞一名44歲的前房地產(chǎn)開發(fā)商Tony Kiritsis展開。他用槍劫持了貸款公司總裁Richard O. Hall，并在其身上綁了一個“死亡開關(guān)”，以此脅迫這位總裁在幾近零度的天氣里當著警察和記者的面穿過市中心的街道。

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
