Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 素媛

 她（李來 飾）是一個美麗平凡的小女孩，和爸爸媽媽生活在位于街角的家中。家里經(jīng)營著以她的名字素媛命名的雜貨店，母親（嚴(yán)智媛 飾）作為老板娘日夜忙碌不得閑暇，父親則在工廠干著繁重的工作。在那個飄雨的早上，素媛打著雨傘獨自上學(xué)。在離學(xué)校近在咫尺的地方，她遭遇一個相貌猥瑣、酒氣沖天的大叔，由此開啟了她的悲劇之旅。柔嫩的小花遭到暴風(fēng)雨無情摧殘，受傷的豈止枝枝葉葉，更是那迎著陽光無憂成長的心。無良媒體鋪天蓋地大肆渲染，作為受害者的素媛一家仿佛成了周身污穢的恥辱之人，被四周詫異好奇的目光所包圍。媽媽悲痛欲絕，幾近崩潰。爸爸全力保護女兒，但受傷的小天使卻拒絕爸爸的靠近。問兇之路伴隨著天使的治愈旅程，美麗的女孩可會再露燦爛笑容？

包寶寶

 畫面開始，一雙豐滿的手靈巧地揉面、按記兒、搟皮兒、包包子。沒過一會兒，一籠白白凈凈又饞人的包子就做得了。相貌平平的女主人推開廚房的窗戶，短暫的歇息。稍后，包子蒸熟，女主人端著它來到餐桌前。此時，她的老公已經(jīng)起床，正目不轉(zhuǎn)睛地盯著電視的新聞。而他看了表后狼吞虎咽，便匆匆上班去了。失落的女主人拿起最后一個包子，可剛一張嘴包子便大哭了起來。不知為何包子有了生命，而倍感孤獨的女主人格外開心，于是將包寶寶當(dāng)做自己的孩子撫養(yǎng)。小包子一天天長大，他起初和女主人分外親近，但是他漸漸有了自己的個性，渴望獨立，渴望遠行……本片是《超人總動員2》的貼片短片，榮獲奧斯卡電影金像獎最佳動畫短片獎。
