遠(yuǎn)山高良是日本著名藝術(shù)家，年逾古稀，其本人對(duì)SM虐文化的癡迷與造詣可謂頗深，但內(nèi)心一直有所遺憾，總希望在臨終前達(dá)成自己的一個(gè)秘密心愿。遠(yuǎn)山之妻靜子（杉本彩飾）年輕貌美，溫柔賢淑，一直對(duì)丈夫敬愛有加，并協(xié)助其完成工作。然而，遠(yuǎn)山年邁，心有余而力不足，二人性生活并不和諧。 一次偶然與丈夫的交流，讓靜子得以一窺神秘的性虐文化，從此陷入無(wú)盡的幻覺之中?！　∵h(yuǎn)山有一個(gè)學(xué)徒叫池上洋介（遠(yuǎn)藤憲一飾），身住巴黎，一直受遠(yuǎn)山資助，卻多年完成不了一幅作品?！∵h(yuǎn)山派靜子去巴黎要畫，走入池上破舊頹敗的公寓里，靜子撞破池上與其妹妹的曖昧關(guān)系。性情暴躁的池上一直為無(wú)法創(chuàng)作而苦悶，美麗如畫的靜子一下給了他靈感。二人由敵意轉(zhuǎn)為曖昧的情欲關(guān)系，而靜子在給與池上藝術(shù)激情的同時(shí)，自己也開始一步步地體驗(yàn)性虐獨(dú)特的美感與興奮。 　就在二人沉醉的時(shí)候，危險(xiǎn)卻一步步襲來(lái)，靜子不知這所有的一切其實(shí)只是個(gè)早已安排好的局......

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
