 25年前，高中生任娜美（沈恩京 飾）一家從全羅道搬到漢城，娜美入讀真德女子高中，因方言濃重怯于開口的娜美幸運的得到了同班大姐頭夏春花（姜索拉 飾）的維護，并與圍繞在夏春花周圍的執(zhí)著于雙眼皮的金玫瑰、滿嘴臟話的黃珍熙、夢想成為作家的徐金玉、要成為韓國小姐的俞福姬以及沉默傲慢的美人鄭秀智等五人結(jié)識。在一次和不良少女團對決之后，春花和娜美等七人組成了“Sunny”團體……多年以后，家庭主婦娜美在去醫(yī)院探望母親時偶然重逢了身患絕癥住院的春花，后者希望在生命的最后兩個月內(nèi)，能夠再見當年的Sunny成員。娜美找到金玫瑰，兩人委托私家偵探尋找當年的同伴，而那些關(guān)于青春的回憶，也在一個個熟悉的名姓后面再次被喚醒。

　　1982年，英國傳奇重金屬樂隊Spinal Tap搖滾樂團紅極一時。電影導(dǎo)演馬蒂（羅伯·萊納 Rob Reiner 飾）是Spinal Tap樂團的一位忠實粉絲。Spinal Tap樂團要來美國舉行一次復(fù)出巡演，馬蒂則為Spinal Tap樂團拍攝隨行紀錄片。本部仿紀錄片刻意杜撰出一個英國搖滾樂團Spinal Tap，活靈活現(xiàn)的刻畫出了搖滾樂團臺上臺下表里不一的嘴臉，對當代搖滾樂做出了尖銳的諷刺和嘲諷。　　本片由羅伯·萊納自編自導(dǎo)自演之作。影片中的電影音樂均由演員們親自演奏創(chuàng)作而成。
