莫少聰,翁虹,午馬乾隆年間國(guó)泰民安,百姓安居樂(lè)業(yè)欣欣向榮過(guò)的是好不快活?! 』噬显谟笆绦l(wèi)高迪的陪同下前往江南體恤民情。在皇上出宮后一長(zhǎng)陰謀正在展開(kāi),一位野心勃勃的王爺竟然暗地與當(dāng)?shù)睾趲凸唇Y(jié)一路追殺皇帝?! ≡谇巴葜莩堑穆飞嫌錾狭藦木┏翘踊殡x家的野蠻格格賈仁。經(jīng)過(guò)一場(chǎng)“惡斗”后三人決定一同上路,在惠州城的集市遇到了在集市中擺擂臺(tái)的“洋鬼子”元宵。元宵在比試中輸給了賈仁格格執(zhí)意要讓賈仁格格收他為徒。三人想盡辦法卻無(wú)法擺脫元宵,無(wú)奈只能收下元宵為徒。半夜在惠州城的某客棧,突然出現(xiàn)蒙面黑衣人刺殺皇帝,還好刺客技藝不精,皇帝沒(méi)有受到半點(diǎn)傷害。高迪決定四人連夜趕往他的老家避難?! ≡诟叩霞抑校噬嫌龅礁叩系谋砻没輪?,皇上對(duì)惠喬一見(jiàn)傾心,賈仁格格也慢慢的愛(ài)上了那個(gè)英俊風(fēng)流的侍衛(wèi)高迪。賈仁格格與元宵在回家的路上遇到一對(duì)奇丑無(wú)比的戀人。兩人因?yàn)橄嗝渤舐阅赀^(guò)四十還沒(méi)成家。善良的賈仁格格便與眾人一起幫助這對(duì)苦命鴛鴦籌辦婚禮,終于讓這對(duì)苦命戀人有情人終成眷屬。皇上與惠喬,高迪與賈仁在這段日子感情也逐漸升溫。豈料此時(shí)皇上與惠喬被蜻蜓幫綁架,高迪與賈仁心急如焚,托朋友四處打聽(tīng)皇上與惠喬的下落?! 〗壖芑噬系恼球唑褞偷膸椭鞣蛉爽帲伺艘苍?jīng)是皇上的愛(ài)人,當(dāng)年為了皇帝背叛幫會(huì)。由愛(ài)生恨,此女對(duì)皇上當(dāng)年棄之不顧的事耿耿與懷。但是在與皇帝相處的這段日子里舊情復(fù)燃并偷偷的通知高迪皇帝被囚禁之處。 在與眾人的幫助下高迪終于找到了皇帝的所在,但在這個(gè)時(shí)候元宵露出了狐貍尾巴,眾人沒(méi)有想到元宵竟然是蜻蜓幫的人,在這個(gè)關(guān)鍵時(shí)候元宵倒戈相向。所幸的是元宵的背叛并沒(méi)有個(gè)給大家?guī)?lái)什么麻煩,最后還是將皇帝從蜻蜓幫的魔爪之中救出。通過(guò)這次危難四人的感情更是牢固,最后成就了這一段錯(cuò)體姻緣。

The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
