　　鄭家村，突然發(fā)生了一系列似怪異的事件。 眾人來到鄭家老宅，鄭浩民在了解情況后，特邀請曾經(jīng)的同事，考古學(xué)教授張信安前來一同進行科學(xué)調(diào)查。 張信安等人來到鄭家村與鄭浩民等開展了一系列的調(diào)查工作。 張信安在觀察了鄭家老宅后，從科學(xué)依據(jù)做出判斷，鄭家老宅四面環(huán)山傍水，陰濕氣重，在地理上形同一個低洼混區(qū)，導(dǎo)致磁場混亂，各種正常人感知不到的微弱電波無法散發(fā)。 就在調(diào)查即將接近真相的時候，兩位教授遭受莫名攻擊，陷入可怕幻覺，導(dǎo)致兩人當(dāng)場昏迷。 事態(tài)進一步惡化，破開迷霧的重任壓在了韓斌和張紫涵這一對年輕戀人身上。 韓斌在經(jīng)過一系列的詭異后終于找出緣由。

　　由克里斯（Titus De Voogdt 飾）和皮特（Stef Aerts 飾）帶隊并由數(shù)名十幾歲的男孩組成的童子軍即將前往靠近法國邊境的某座森林里露營，出發(fā)前他向孩子們講述了一個可怕的傳說，據(jù)說森林里有一種被稱為“凱”的半人半獸怪物肆虐橫行，當(dāng)?shù)厝寺勶L(fēng)喪膽。它的模樣如同人狼，凡是被它咬過的人都會受到感染變成人狼。孩子們?nèi)呵榧ぐ?，決心痛揍人狼，隨后跟隨克里斯坐上卡車出發(fā)。陽光明媚的時節(jié)，孩子們在露營地快樂玩耍，不過并不受眾人待見的小男孩薩姆（Maurice Luijten 飾）似乎格外在意“凱”的存在，他在挖洞時聲稱一度看到“凱”的身影，隨后更在營地附近發(fā)現(xiàn)一處神秘的巢穴。　　夜幕降臨，可怕的身影悄悄向營地接近，薩姆的命運發(fā)生徹底改變……

All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
