LIFE ON TOP is a new erotic television series exploring the sex-filled adventures of four young women striving to make it in Manhattan. Sophie, an ambitious but na?ve business school graduate who just broke up with her college boyfriend, moves to New York intent on making her mark at a venture capital firm. She's shocked when she arrives at her older sister Bella's fabulous city apartment and discovers that gorgeous, confident and outgoing Bella is also a very successful and much in demand erotic model with plenty of scandalous secrets to reveal. But Bella, who is not as tough as she seems, is also facing the reality of the limited lifespan of her beauty-obsessed profession and yearning for a more stable and meaningful relationship with that one special person. While Sophie is still burdened with some old-fashioned ideas about sexuality, she's also envious of Bella's glamorous, liberated girl-about-town lifestyle. And then there's all those beautiful new people she'll get to meet. There's so much more to learn about life and love from an ever-expanding group of vibrant, sexually-charged girlfriends and the men who hover around them. 根據(jù)徐貴祥同名小說改編。 鐵匠的兒子石平陽帶著父親的囑托參軍來到炮兵部隊。他的一股沖勁，受到營長莊必川的喜愛，老班長李四虎更喜歡石平陽不服輸?shù)膭蓬^。李四虎是技術(shù)尖子，他對新戰(zhàn)士訓(xùn)練十分嚴格，新戰(zhàn)士進步很快。他把石平陽視作接班人，要在自己退伍之前把經(jīng)驗全部傳授給石平陽，甚至以故意裝病，讓石平陽獨立完成訓(xùn)練課目。石平陽進步很快，年終還榮立了三等功。和他一起入伍的女兵張媚對他也另眼看待。教導(dǎo)隊招收骨干，進教導(dǎo)隊就能報考軍校，成為軍官。營長擔(dān)心比武缺了石平陽影響成績，因此改派與石平陽一同入伍的王北風(fēng)去了教導(dǎo)隊。機會得而復(fù)失，石平陽有些想不通。父親去世了，指導(dǎo)員讓他回家料理，但他走到半路，想起父親的囑托，毅然返回連隊。李四虎復(fù)員了，石平陽接任班長，他把老班長的好傳統(tǒng)全部繼承下來，愛兵、愛炮、愛部隊，技術(shù)精益求精。同時入伍的王北風(fēng)和張媚進了軍校，石平陽仍然當班長。排長調(diào)走了，石平陽任代理排長，這時，他入伍已有八年。團里為了留住他，讓他準備報考軍校。就在這時，新戰(zhàn)士劉發(fā)展一封雖事出有因但嚴重失實的告狀信，使他又失去了上軍校的機會。石平陽要復(fù)員了，副團長莊必川舍不得他離開，從車站把他接回，團黨委特別決定把他留下。石平陽又回到排里，他對劉發(fā)展更嚴格、更耐心訓(xùn)練和要求，使劉發(fā)展深感內(nèi)疚。幾年后，參謀王北風(fēng)到部隊檢查工作，見到石平陽仍是上士，不免生出許多感觸。在集團軍的軍事演習(xí)中，石平陽指揮火炮群的準確射擊，令首長和指揮員們贊嘆不已。石平陽多年操縱的火炮由新式火炮取代了，他雖有些戀戀不舍，但他立即和戰(zhàn)友們開始學(xué)習(xí)掌握新的火炮，迎接新的挑戰(zhàn)。不久，石平陽被破格提拔為中尉連長。
