靈蝕

　　自從父親死后，薇若妮卡就一直姊代母職照顧弟弟。思念父親的她，和兩個朋友在日全蝕那天，做了碟仙板以召喚她父親的靈體。不料就在日光完全遭到遮蔽同時，玻璃破碎，薇若妮卡陷入恍惚狀態(tài)然后昏迷，朋友們也嚇得驚慌失措。薇若妮卡清醒后回家，卻開始發(fā)現(xiàn)一些異象：東西自己會移動、看不見的地方傳來正體不明的呼吸聲……她覺得是她把父親帶回了生者的世界，可是這些異象卻越發(fā)不懷好意，讓她備感威脅。在弟弟的幫助下，薇若妮卡展開一項儀式要脫離靈體糾纏，卻召喚出始料未及的恐怖幻影，雖然薇若妮卡勇敢地抵抗，但她卻渾然不知可怕的后果正等著她……

好像一切都很糟糕

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　A writer who studies the paranormal believes that low frequency tactile sound is the cause for reported ghost sightings in an abandoned subway station. In an attempt to debunk the sightings, she breaks into the station to record evidence.
