廢世界
故事設(shè)定在《廢頭》世界的1042年前，以機(jī)器人“羅賓”作為主角。羅賓原本作為護(hù)衛(wèi)，隨同調(diào)查隊(duì)長特里斯前往地下世界調(diào)查異常情況。盡管肩負(fù)保護(hù)特里斯的使命，但調(diào)查隊(duì)卻遭到了人工生命體馬里甘的邪教組織“吉拉教”的襲擊。在壓倒性的戰(zhàn)力差距下，調(diào)查隊(duì)陷入苦戰(zhàn)。然而，在這場激烈的交鋒中，他們發(fā)現(xiàn)了次元的扭曲，并逐步揭開地下世界隱藏的秘密與異變的真相。

All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present. Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
