阿黃（許冠文 飾）是一名料理師，個性有些輕浮又十分愛現(xiàn)，但實際上，他是個名副其實的“妻管嚴(yán)”。阿黃和爺爺（許英秀 飾）一起住在岳父（盧海鵬 飾）家中，岳父性格武斷又強(qiáng)勢，生活中阿黃免不了要受氣，日積月累下來，阿黃的心中積蓄了許多不滿。 某日，一位名為施施（葉倩文 飾）的美麗女子出現(xiàn)在了阿黃的面前，她正是阿黃的夢中情人。讓阿黃沒有想到的是，施施竟然對自己一往情深，還邀請他去菲律賓度假，這樣的好機(jī)會阿黃怎么能夠放過，兩人遂即動身。阿黃的妻子（鄒美儀 飾）和好友雪莉（葉麗儀 飾）得知此事，遂和父親一起，對阿黃展開了“追捕”。
