影片改編自享譽世界的比利時法語偵探小說家喬治 西默農(nóng)（Georges Simenon，1903年12月12日~1989年9月4日）發(fā)表于1933年的偵探小說《伊爾先生的訂婚儀式》（Les Fian ccedil;ailles de M.
