富士見(jiàn)市某運(yùn)營(yíng)熱帶魚(yú)的商店,寓居著社本一家三口。戶主信介(吹越滿 飾)在妻子逝世后不久便娶了美麗的妙子,此舉令女兒美津子大為不滿,因而家中的氛圍總是壓制凝重,妙子更是戰(zhàn)戰(zhàn)兢兢,生怕因本人惹出事端。某晚,美津子因在行竊被超市所拘留,社本夫婦匆忙前往,多虧熱情的生疏男子村田幸雄出面方得以脫身。村田也是一家熱帶魚(yú)商店的老板,他誠(chéng)懇地約請(qǐng)社見(jiàn)一家到他的店中做客,并愿意聘用美津子為職員。社本夫婦雖有些無(wú)所適從,卻不盲目地被村田牽著鼻子走。不久后,村田約請(qǐng)信介為協(xié)作人,結(jié)果竟在信介的面前殺死了一個(gè)質(zhì)疑本人的男人。一向唯命是從的信介,被迫成為了猖獗的村田毀尸滅跡的爪牙本片依據(jù)1993年震驚日本的琦玉愛(ài)犬家連續(xù)殺人事情改編

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night.   However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements.   Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
