處女作家的初體驗

　　姐妹Nora和Agnes與疏遠(yuǎn)的父親——魅力非凡的導(dǎo)演Gustav重聚。這位昔日名導(dǎo)試圖讓舞臺劇演員Nora參演自己寄予厚望的復(fù)出之作，卻遭女兒拒絕。Nora很快發(fā)現(xiàn)，父親已將她的角色轉(zhuǎn)給了一位野心勃勃的好萊塢新星。突如其來的變故迫使兩姐妹直面與父親的復(fù)雜糾葛，而這位美國明星的加入，更讓本就微妙的家庭關(guān)系陷入新的波瀾。

　　結(jié)識小明（楊靜怡）前，小四（張震）是典型的乖仔，是父母的希望和兄妹的驕傲（一家人指望他考上名牌大學(xué)將來提升全家的社會地位），他有一個喜歡搖滾樂的自稱“小貓王（王啟贊）”的好友，兩人雖會去樹林看人幽會，但過的是與周圍諸多在“小公園”混的少年人完全兩樣的生活。　　喜歡上小明后 ，小四便像跌進(jìn)一個無底深淵，開始被外界的各種力量牽著鼻子走。新識仰慕對象honey（林鴻銘）意外身亡，一向敬重的父親的自尊與精神因為某次事件嚴(yán)重受損，加上將一次次“欺騙玩弄”他感情的小明“看透”，血氣方剛又有很強道德感的小四終于走上犯罪的道路，期望用自己的刀結(jié)束事件的根源。但小四不知的是，他眼中的根源只是這條食物鏈中微不足道的一環(huán)。

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
