Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 卡薩諾瓦1976

 意大利導(dǎo)演費(fèi)德里克．費(fèi)里尼的中期經(jīng)典作《八部半》是其成熟高峰期作品，此后開始走向糜爛而至腐敗，偏于肉欲放縱和自我沉溺，像《費(fèi)里尼之薩蒂尼康》（六九年）和本片，都是糜爛頹廢的出色力作。本片反映了十八世紀(jì)基督道德不振后的上流腐化放縱，費(fèi)里尼盡情借題發(fā)揮，展現(xiàn)出精英文藝在人欲橫流下的腐爛情態(tài)。大情人卡薩諾華是在情場屢戰(zhàn)屢勝的“性斗士"，不斷獵艷，還參加造愛競賽。但這大情人苦于人人只重他的性愛能力，不重視他經(jīng)世濟(jì)民治國的才學(xué)。而且女人們對他都“有性無愛"，當(dāng)他衰老得失去性魅力之后，就只能把一個機(jī)械女人當(dāng)作夢中情人，很可悲可憐。
