慰安婦七十四分隊
抗日戰(zhàn)爭時期，一隊身穿和服的女人被送到日軍侵華前線充當軍妓。于淑華是中國人，結(jié)婚前夕被抓來。她誓死不從。未婚夫冒死來救，但被慰安婦隊長村山枝子和韓國軍妓順善阻住，淑華沒有逃脫。軍妓們奉命穿和服接客，淑華斷然拒絕，日本軍曹池田尚男當眾撕開淑華的衣服，被日軍大佐大島正雄一句話救下。在轉(zhuǎn)移的列車上，淑華自殺被救。到達目的地，慰安婦們經(jīng)歷著難以名狀的痛苦，受著日軍無休止的蹂躪。過了一段時間，軍醫(yī)前來檢查慰安婦的性病，查出染有性病的人被帶走處理掉。井上合子被查出，被強行帶上車拉走。合子要枝子把她的頭發(fā)和掙的錢交給母親，并告訴她母親她在支那死得很體面。慰安婦們又轉(zhuǎn)移了，在船上和另一隊慰安婦相遇。順善發(fā)現(xiàn)她女兒文姬也在慰安婦隊伍里，她哭求放了女兒，遭到一頓毒打。一個日軍上尉救了她們母女，但上尉在得知自己的女兒在漢城被人推下河中淹死后，滿腔怒火沖向文姬。順善忍無可忍，舉起軍刀砍向上尉。上尉被砍死，順善母女在日軍的機槍聲中躍入江中。又到了目的地，一位戰(zhàn)場立功的軍曹一定要日本女人“慰安”，74分隊只有生病的枝子一個日本人。枝子拖著病體躺在草鋪上。軍曹突然發(fā)現(xiàn)，他自己身下的女人竟是自己的妹妹，他發(fā)出了歇斯底里的吼叫。戰(zhàn)斗進行得很激烈，慰安婦們也編入了作戰(zhàn)部隊，進入戰(zhàn)火紛飛的陣地。日軍大佐伊東太郎下令組織敢死隊。敢死隊要求赴死前讓軍妓們“慰安”，伊東下令：這是慰安婦最后一次“工作”，“工作”完后，全部消滅。淑華帶著慰安婦們奮起反抗，她們殺死彈藥庫守衛(wèi)人員，想炸毀彈藥庫，但沒有成功。執(zhí)法隊趕來押解慰安婦，時值戰(zhàn)斗緊急，敢死隊提前上前線。池田奉命來消滅慰安婦，被炮彈炸傷，手持手榴彈沖進。慰安婦們頓時醒悟，踩過負傷的池田，沖出隱蔽所。淑華她們沖向彈藥庫，把彈藥庫炸毀。慰安婦們又跑向中國陣地。槍聲在她們身后響起，她們紛紛中彈倒下。在炮火的硝煙中，于淑華也終于栽倒了

The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
