Catholicism entered Korea in 1784. Lee Seung-hun spreads the words with the brothers of Jung Yak-jong and Jung Yak-yong. The religion is used as an impetus for dispute between political parties so it becomes persecuted. During the Sin-yu Persecution, Ha-sang and Jung-eun avoid torture and surveillance and gather the parishioners, expanding the church's power. Lee Hang-ju, the illegitimate child of Lee Ji-yeon a high ranking official, rescues Jung-eun from danger and is drawn to her at first glance. Hang-ju and Jung-eun's fathers give their blessing to their marriage but one is executed for truth and the other becomes a high ranking official whom no one can approach. Jung-eun avoids Hang-ju's love for the truth and the teachings of the church. Hang-ju desperately chases after his love. When many parishioners disappear like dew on the gallows during the Roman Catholic persecution, Hang-ju receives the Holy Spirit.

仇殺病房
在某臨近海濱的醫(yī)院內(nèi)，住著一個(gè)無依無靠的中年男子金珉昊（千浩振 飾）。由于左半邊身體失去知覺，加上腦神經(jīng)受損，因此他無時(shí)無刻不想了結(jié)這苦難的人生。這一日，醫(yī)院送來了另一位沒有任何親眷的病號(hào)，他的名字叫做樸尚樺（劉海鎮(zhèn) 飾），因腦部受損而失去了記憶，與金安排在同一個(gè)加護(hù)病房。樸的到來，激起金珉昊心中無限的波瀾。這兩個(gè)男人似乎曾有著無限的仇恨與瓜葛，致令金想盡各種辦法要置其于死地，而漸漸恢復(fù)記憶的樸也將同樣的仇恨傾瀉于金珉昊?！ ∨c此同時(shí)，神秘的白醫(yī)生一反常態(tài)對(duì)兩個(gè)男人進(jìn)行特殊關(guān)護(hù)，并且用匪夷所思的治療方法幫助他們恢復(fù)健康。這一切的背后，似乎隱藏著更大的謎團(tuán)……
