Catholicism entered Korea in 1784. Lee Seung-hun spreads the words with the brothers of Jung Yak-jong and Jung Yak-yong. The religion is used as an impetus for dispute between political parties so it becomes persecuted. During the Sin-yu Persecution, Ha-sang and Jung-eun avoid torture and surveillance and gather the parishioners, expanding the church's power. Lee Hang-ju, the illegitimate child of Lee Ji-yeon a high ranking official, rescues Jung-eun from danger and is drawn to her at first glance. Hang-ju and Jung-eun's fathers give their blessing to their marriage but one is executed for truth and the other becomes a high ranking official whom no one can approach. Jung-eun avoids Hang-ju's love for the truth and the teachings of the church. Hang-ju desperately chases after his love. When many parishioners disappear like dew on the gallows during the Roman Catholic persecution, Hang-ju receives the Holy Spirit.

　　芝加哥又迎來了晴朗的一天，逃學高手菲利斯（馬修?布羅德里克 Matthew Broderick 飾）自然不會在這天選擇枯燥的測驗，他偽裝病重騙過父母，令同校的姐姐珍妮徒勞嫉妒。菲利斯找來好友凱倫（阿蘭?盧克 Alan Ruck 飾），兩人聯(lián)手騙過訓導主任羅寧，駕駛凱倫父親珍藏的法拉利將菲利斯女友思朗接出學校兜風，菲利斯嫻熟的電話騙術在凱倫和思朗的配合下將眾人戲弄的團團亂轉，學生們反而受他的影響頗深，在校內發(fā)起給菲利斯謊稱的手術捐款。羅寧不堪忍受菲利斯一次次得欺騙，“微服私訪”去校外希望能將菲利斯捉個正形，而在城中四處游蕩的菲利斯三人則展開了一場隱藏自己身份的冒險……
