姬蘇（金惠秀飾）是一個有些神經(jīng)質(zhì)的女人，腦海中經(jīng)常浮現(xiàn)出詭異的圖景，因此她到醫(yī)院尋求幫助。但她主治醫(yī)師錫權(quán)（金泰宇飾）卻對她的癥狀無計可施。一年之后，錫權(quán)與姬蘇再度重逢，他發(fā)現(xiàn)她依舊精神恍惚，試圖走進(jìn)她的生活，幫她復(fù)原……隨著了解的深入，姬蘇終于對錫權(quán)吐露了她不幸的遭遇：原來她曾經(jīng)有一個心愛的男人，但卻移情別戀，而此時她身懷有孕。為了報復(fù)負(fù)心漢，姬蘇作出了驚人的決定：在懷孕期間，她拼命在夜店買醉，瘋狂吸煙，糟蹋身體，導(dǎo)致胎兒因早產(chǎn)2月而夭折。而且，冷血的她還有更加極端的行為，這令錫權(quán)束手無策。直到解開她的身世之謎，他才赫然發(fā)現(xiàn)：原來一切皆是冤冤相報，所有的罪行都源于她曾經(jīng)因一時沖動鑄成的大錯…

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
