現(xiàn)代化大都會(huì),物質(zhì)文明雖然高度發(fā)達(dá),但人們的精神世界卻見(jiàn)此垮塌,幾近崩潰。就讀于吉村私立中學(xué)少女北條梢(木村さやか 飾)四處尋找一個(gè)叫井上博信的男子,她在大街小巷貼滿尋人啟事,卻始終沒(méi)有收獲。萬(wàn)般無(wú)奈之下,北條求助于私人偵探(伊藤猛 飾)。這個(gè)偵探真實(shí)身份是個(gè)攝影師,他熱衷于拍攝人類(lèi)死亡的瞬間,偵探不過(guò)是他方便找到合適模特的幌子而已?!∠嗵幉痪茫瑐商铰冻霰緛?lái)面目。他把北條強(qiáng)行帶回自己的潛水艇工作室,卻在這一過(guò)程中發(fā)現(xiàn)北條和自己同樣有著扭曲與邪惡的欲望。在這個(gè)隔絕得空間里兩人相互糾纏,就此墮入永遠(yuǎn)無(wú)法超脫的無(wú)間地獄

好像一切都很糟糕

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night.   However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements.   Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
