珍妮（蘇菲•瑪索 Sophie Marceau 飾）是居住在法國的一名美女作家，她和丈夫迪奧（Andrea Di Stefano 飾）共同經(jīng)營一個(gè)幸福美滿的四口之家。但是近一段時(shí)間，珍妮卻感到令人難以承受的壓力。客戶的要求讓她無法隨心所欲寫作，漸漸地珍妮發(fā)現(xiàn)周遭的一切開始發(fā)生變化，房間、丈夫、兒女甚至她自己的容貌都讓人倍感陌生。珍妮的歇斯底里使家中的歡樂蕩然無存，她和丈夫的婚姻也走到盡頭。 某天，珍妮的容貌也完全發(fā)生改變，變成了一個(gè)擁有一頭黑發(fā)、大眼明眸的異域風(fēng)情女子（莫妮卡•貝魯奇 Monica Bellucci 飾）。她偶然在母親的住所看到一張相片，于是啟程前往意大利，尋找自己真正的本源歸宿……
